The Minister of Finance appreciates the “absolutely exemplary behavior” they have had to facilitate the application of the active bonus of 20 cents per liter of fuel
The Minister of Finance and Public Function, María Jesús Montero, has indicated this Monday that some 2,900 gas stations will begin to collect between tomorrow and Wednesday the advance payment of the fuel bonuses that the Government approved to stop the rise in prices.
In an interview with RNE, collected by Europa Press, the minister has indicated that “as of today” about 3,500 gas stations had already requested the advance and that, of that number, 80 percent “will begin to collect this advance” between tomorrow and Wednesday.
After the intervention of the minister, the Ministry has clarified that these gas stations will not “begin to collect” the bonus advances, but that the payment will be made to all of them on that date.
Montero wanted to express his “gratitude” to the group of Spanish gas stations for the “absolutely exemplary behavior” they have had during this first day in which the bonus of 20 cents per liter of fuel has been active.
The minimum bonus will remain in force until June 30 and will be 20 cents per liter or kilo of fuel, depending on the type of fuel, of which the State will assume 15 cents and the oil companies a minimum of 5 cents.
