This year there are films that have become a sensation, and the one that has attracted the most attention is undoubtedly Robot Dreams, which shows us the friendship of a Dog and his Robot friend who spend time together sharing hobbies such as learning to skate in the park. And although everything has turned out to be a good film, it seems that there are people who have had mixed feelings, taking on a certain resentment against a certain protagonist who they mention “could have tried harder.”
Spoilers ahead!
To understand why people are hating this cartoon a little, it is necessary to explain that within the film there is the problem that the Robot has been left stranded on the beach because it needed oil, a situation that the dog does not knew how to control. And that leads us to the fact that from one day to the next they closed this place, which would not open within a year, which would lead the dog to try to get his friend out, and that was summarized in a couple of attempts and then leave it to its own devices and even replace it.
That's why we have the following reactions, ranging from anger to not taking things so seriously:
The little dog from “Robot dreams” did what he could with what he had.

People who are on the chili dog side only know how to excuse their actions for everything without taking responsibility for hurting others because it is the “right thing for them.”

This is the synopsis:
Animated film inspired by the graphic novel of the same name about a dog and a robot, which shows us in moving detail how powerful and fragile relationships are. After a trip to the beach over the Labor Day holiday leaves the robot rusty, immobilized in the sand, the dog must rebuild his life without his best friend. But the memory of their friendship endures and, as the seasons pass, the animal tries to fill the emotional void left by the loss of his closest friend. In this way, he will make and lose new friends, from a melting snowman to some hedonistic anteaters. But for the robot, rusty on the beach, the only relief from loneliness is dreams.
Remember that the film can still be seen in some movie theaters.

Author's note: It is a rather sad story to watch, given that the poor robot is left abandoned while the dog forgets about the latter after a few days. He has a lesson to learn about emotional responsibility.
