Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin instructed to reduce the number of migrants at the construction sites of the renovation program in Moscow. On Wednesday, November 17, reports Telegram-channel RIA Novosti.
He noted that it is necessary to attract Russians from nearby regions to construction projects under renovation programs, raise wages and create conditions for work. It is necessary to increase labor productivity, mechanization and industrialization of construction.
“People of a different quality (are needed), with a different salary, there are fewer migrants, of whom you have quite a lot today,” the mayor emphasized.
Earlier, the vice-mayor of Moscow for urban development Andrei Bochkarev also announced that the capital’s authorities were preparing a plan for resolving the personnel issue at construction sites. As a result, it will be possible to abandon the use of migrant labor.
