Two new arrivals in Skoda dealerships. The first is the new large Kodiaq SUV, now available in Sportline version and characterized by a new glossy black color reserved for all the body details and by specific interiors in the furnishings and finishes. Alongside it is the best seller Octavia in the sporty RS variant. Available with sedan and Wagon body styles, it is powered by a 2.0 TSI 265 HP and is equipped with specific trim and steering, to enhance its dynamic qualities without sacrificing everyday usability. The Kodiaq SUV in the Sportline version
The second generation of the Kodiaq is a completely different beast to the previous model, both in terms of design and in terms of active safety features, infotainment and electrification of the engines. Today it is also available in the Sportline version, and Its bodywork is characterised by glossy black for the grille, for the profiles on the front and rear bumpers, for the rearview mirror caps and for the roof rails. All the lettering on the body and the C-pillar trim are also black, which creates continuity with the dark-tinted rear windows. The look is completed by the 19” wheels with a dedicated design. Inside, the Sportline version welcomes the front occupants on sports seats with integrated headrests and perforated synthetic suede upholstery with contrasting stitching. The three-spoke sports steering wheel is flattened at the bottom and the pedals are in metal. The Sportline version is available for all engines in the range, namely: 1.5 TSI mhev 150 HP, 2.0 TDI 150 HP or 193 HP 4×4 and, a major new feature of this second generation, 1.5 TSI Plug-In Hybrid 204 HP, with over 100 km of zero-emission autonomy. In this first phase, the Kodiaq Sportline is only available as a 5-seater; the introduction of the 7-seater version (only available for TSI mhev and TDI engines) will follow in the coming months. The standard equipment in terms of comfort, active safety and connectivity substantially follows that of the Style version, which represents the top of the range for the new model, with Matrix LED light clusters, Adas for level 2 assisted driving, three-zone Climatronic and connected navigator as standard. The price list starts at 46,500 euros.
The RS variant of the Octavia
As for the new RS variant of the Octavia, The highlight is the 2.0 TSI with 265 hp and 370 Nm, combined as standard with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.. The front axle traction is assisted by the electronically controlled self-locking differential which improves the acceleration from a standstill, stopping the stopwatch in the 0-100 km/h in 6.4 sec (6.5 sec. for the Wagon). The sports suspension is also new, lowered by 15 mm and with specific calibration of springs and electronically controlled shock absorbers DCC. The variable incidence steering also improves handling on bends and stability at high speed. The standard equipment is particularly complete, and in addition to the dedicated aesthetics of the front and rear bumpers and the 18” alloy wheels, it includes, among other things: Comfort Pack Plus with volumetric alarm, electric tailgate with Virtual pedal and electric parcel shelf, front light clusters with second-generation Matrix LED technology, rear camera, infotainment with 13” screen and connected navigator, keyless opening and closing system on the four doors. The standard equipment also includes the Front Assistant active driving assistance technologies. with automatic braking and pedestrian recognition, adaptive cruise control, Lane Assist 2.0 active lane keeping and Side Assist blind spot monitoring system. The interior, dominated by black, offers high-containment sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel with RS logo and sports pedals. The finishes on the dashboard and doors are also specific to the RS variant. The price list starts at 46,350 euros.
