Skiing Vuokatti Ski Team superior in women, Hakola raised Jämin Jänte to victory in men

The messages of the Finnish Cup were skied on Sunday in Vuokatti, Sotkamo.

Vuokatti Ski Team Kainuu won the cross-country women’s message on its home runs in the Finnish Cup competitions held in Vuokatti.

The team skied on Sunday Jasmin Kähärä, Vilma Nissinen and Katri Lylynperä. In the traditional race, three four-kilometer sections were skied.

Jämin Jänne led in the first exchange when Josefiina Böök kept up the good pace with the opening leg. In the second leg, Nissinen quickly grabbed a 4.7-second neck and eventually tore a long run away.

“Katri was intimidated by the fact that she would not have to ski on a lifeline,” Nissinen referred to the lead in Lylyperper’s broadcast on YLE.

For Nissinen, the start was the first of the season. He was not involved in Saturday’s free sprint

“It was nice to come skiing. Already yesterday I thought I could go skiing. ”

Vantaa Ski club Jasmi Joensuu would have been a tough factor in the battle for victory if he had gotten his anchor share with the tip.

Saturday’s sprint winner took the track fifth in 29 seconds from the top, but only 3.2 seconds from second place.

Joensuu quickly reached the anchor of the Kainuu Ski Club Anne Kyllösen feel and bundled him in the final straight. The Vantaa team, which reached second, also skied Anni Kainulainen and Marjaana Pitkänen.

“The plan was for me to catch up right away. But Anne went hard, ”Joensuu repeated.

Kyllönen’s back remained suitably close, and Joensuu caught up on the last ascent. Kyllönen got to the last fall ahead, but the sprinter Joensuu was strong at the end.

“I thought I’d try again. In the end, I was already sure I wouldn’t lose, ”said Joensuu.

After the second leg, Jämi’s message trio was second only 0.7 seconds after the Imatra Athletes. With anchor section Ristomatti Hakola bent Imatra Ville Ahosen.

In the winning team, the six-mile sections also folded Aku Nikander and Lauri Lepistö. Imatra was represented by Ahonen Miro Karppanen and Remi Lindholm.

Puijon Hiihtoseura was third in the traditional post with the team Antti Honkimaa, Perttu Hyvärinen and Joonas Sarkkinen.
