Skiing Norway’s Therese Johaug returned to the World Cup with a familiar approach and was superior

Norwegian biathlete Therese Johaug returned to the World Cup in the familiar way, when the 15 – kilometer combination race, or skiathlon, was skied at the Salpausselä competitions in Lahti on Saturday.

After about three kilometers, Johaug escaped from the top four, which also included the US Cup leader. Jessie Diggins, Sweden Ebba Andersson and Russia Natalia Nepryaeva.

Johaug’s victory was once again overwhelming, with only a 19-year-old countryman finishing second Helene Marie Fossesholm was 28 seconds away.

The Finns did not even try to start Johaugu at the beginning.

Krista Pärmäkoski and Kerttu Niskanen skied the free leg in the group, which at best offered sixth place.

According to preliminary information, Pärmäkoski finished eighth and Niskanen 12th. A paint camera was needed for the final investments.

For Johaugu, the mc victory was the Fifth career in Lahti. The first of them came ten years ago.
