The competition was won by Therese Johaug from Norway.
Finland Krista Pärmäkoski has skied a third of the ten kilometers (p) in the Salpausselä race. In the interim race, Pärmäkoski skied 24.44.9 and won the fourth place finish. Kerttu Niskasen in just over 20 seconds.
“Today we had to restrain. I already knew in warm-up that I have a good leg now. I already said yesterday that I am in good shape. There were good opening bets and a good feeling. I knew it was possible to ski on the ball today, ”Pärmäkoski said in an interview with Yle.
The competition was won by Norway Therese Johaug before the second ski of Russia Natalia Nepryaeva. Johaug defeated Nepryaeva by 1.2 seconds. Pärmäkoski was 16.5 seconds behind the winner.
Four other Finns also skied in the top 30. Anne Kyllönen was 14th, Jasmi Joensuu 17: s, Johanna Matintalo 22: s and Katri Lylynperä 24: s.
