Skiing Finnish Ike Melnits cannons for the fourth time at the World Youth Championships: “Juices are completely over”

Melnits already considered entering the sprint final a tremendous performance.

Ike Melnits skied on Sunday in the sprint of the World Championships for boys under the age of 20 for the fourth time in Lygna, Norway. Norway won the sprint final Johannes Lönnestad Laaten.

Melnits survived as the only Finnish skier in the free sprint semi-finals. The best of Finnish women was 19th Elsa Torvinen.

Melnits exceeded his expectations with his performance.

“The juices were already over for the finals. However, we still went to fight. I am really satisfied. The final place was already an incredible performance. It is good to continue with this, ”Melnits said in a press release.

Young sprintter’s day started challenging as he was only 23rd in the qualifiers.

“There was a lot of excitement in the qualifiers, and it didn’t go out so casually,” Melnits recalled.

In Sunday, Finland was fifth in the mixed message for people under 23.
