Ski Jumping Kytösaho and Kykkänen jumped to the World Cup points in Klingenthal

Kytösaho took his best points catch of the season.

Niko Kytösaho grabbed his second point of the season in the hill men ‘s World Cup, when the Finn finished 27th in the competition in Klingenthal, Germany. Kytösaho made a jump of 126 meters from the HS140 hill in the opening round and kept its position in the second round with a stretch of 121 meters.

Kytösaho, who opened 18th in the World Cup in Russia in November, had been eliminated from the second round in the previous four races. Of Austria Stefan Kraft celebrated victory in Klingenthal before Norway Halvor Egner Granerudia and Poland Kamil Stochia.

In the Women’s World Cup Julia Kykkänen was ranked 22nd as the best Finn with jumps of 112.5 and 105.5 meters. Jenny Rautionaho missed 102.5 meters in the opening lap and was eliminated from the second jump lap.

The women’s competition was won by Austria, by far the leader of the World Cup Marita Kramer.
