The new Skate continues its development and processing path, which has long involved part of the community through phases of progressive testing, and precisely on test held in September this is what it’s all about new trailer showing various gameplay moments.
The playtest in question took place during the month of September and was dedicated to various insidertherefore it was not yet a public test, but it still involved a good number of people, in the path established by the developers which should lead to a progressive opening of the game until the early access launch scheduled for next year.
Skate will therefore continue to be improved and enriched even after launch, remaining in the early access phase for some time and giving the developers the opportunity to continue working on it while also being able to count on a large amount of feedback, as it has already started to do for a few months now.
A sequel faithful to the origins
The video published in these hours and visible below already demonstrates how the new Skate has made considerable progress during development, with an already well-established gaming base.
The basic principles are the same as the old simulations, that is, a rather technical approach to skateboarding, translated into a video game with notable fidelity and realism, placing everything within a broad open world table-sized.
Skate. will be distributed as free-to-play on PC, unspecified consoles and mobile platforms, awaiting further details, with the early access launch scheduled for 2025 but still without a precise release date.
What we can see in the video above seems rather convincing and very in line with the classic mechanics of the series, that is, a skateboard-friendly open world in which to move with considerable freedom, in search of the most spectacular tricks.
