Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Unanimously, the Audit Commission approved this Monday the opinion that contemplates a list of applicants so that the plenary session of the Congress of Sinaloa chooses who will be Head of the Internal Control Body (OIC) of the Superior State Audit Office (ASE).
They make up the shortlist for having received the majority of votes: Victor Alfonso Calderon Deratwith six votes; Saul Perez Mezawith five votes, and Sergio Arteaga Ramirezwith three votes.
Representatives from the Audit Committee included Sergio Mario Arredondo Salas, Marco Antonio Zazueta Zazueta, Alba Virgen Montes Álvarez, Adolfo Beltrán Corrales, Nela Rosiely Sánchez Sánchez, César Ismael Guerrero Alarcón, and Rita Fierro Reyes, president, secretary and members, respectively.
The vote of those who make up the list took place in two phases. In one, Víctor Alfonso Calderón Derat and Saúl Pérez Meza were elected, for having ranked first and second in voting.
The third place had a tie of three votes respectively in favor of Rafael Martín Bastidas Adrián and Sergio Arteaga Ramírez.
Given this, they voted again to define the third place, but again they tied with three votes each, and a three-hour recess was declared.
When the work meeting resumed, the president of the Audit Commission, Sergio Mario Arredondo, reported that during the recess, at 4:20 p.m., a letter was received from Rafael Martín Bastidas Adrián, which was addressed to the Commission Control and informed that it was withdrawing from the selection process in order to attend to interests of a particular nature.
Consequently, the Supervisory Commission appointed Sergio Arteaga Ramírez as the third member of the list.
According to the opinion approved this Monday by the Audit Commission, it will be the Plenary that will finally carry out the election in secret scrutiny in Ordinary Session to choose from the list who will occupy the title of the Internal Control Body of the Superior State Audit .
In the approved opinion, it is agreed to personally notify the content of the same to the seven people who were elected as candidates and summons those who make up the list to appear before the State Congress to protest the Law in the Ordinary Session that it determines.
On June 13, the Oversight Commission interviewed seven applicants to occupy the title of the Internal Control Body of the Superior State Audit.
