The protest of a group of Morenistas who call themselves authentic, yesterday called a press conference to make public their disagreement regarding the fact that they were not considered to be part of the list that the candidate will take to the mayor of Mazatlán. Roberto Rodríguez, Jesús Aguilar Colado and other Morena members said they were disappointed with the criteria applied because they also registered in Morena's internal offices in search of being considered candidates, and they were not even considered for positions for alternate councilors.
The only one who did manage to be considered a substitute councilor was the former attorney general Elsa Bojórquez. However, when they were asked if their disagreement meant that they would leave the party to support another candidate, as Morena militants did in Culiacan, this group of dissidents said no, that they would be supporting the person their party designated as its candidate. So? A little consistency, please. What is not very clear is the protest made by the ejidatarios of Rincón de Urías, Palmillas de El Conchi and las Higueras regarding their disagreement with the installation of a particular land for the landfill.
The ejidatarios, who called a press conference, indicated their annoyance because they fear that these facilities where the garbage will be deposited represent a risk to their families and that it will also harm the growth opportunity that was considered for the area, since they mentioned that they have projected country developments. It will be essential that these ejidatarios clearly raise their doubts and disagreements so that they can speak with Mayor Édgar González and explain to them how this landfill will operate, because according to how they expressed themselves, they said that it was a garbage dump.
The issue of organic and inorganic waste management is a serious problem that perhaps in Mexico is not addressed with sufficient seriousness or the commitment required, but currently in Mazatlan, the city is overwhelmed and measures must be taken. Socializing the information that it is a landfill and that it has less impact than an open dump is the beginning so that people do not distrust, but dissemination is essential.
When the controversy between the bands occurred regarding whether they could play on the beach, the schedules and the number of these groups, this, as you know, transcended nationally. Apparently, the only ones who made their solidarity public were the members of the band MS and later Eduin Caz, of the group Firme.
Well, this apparently has already given results, since President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is already considering the band MS to be one of the groups invited to represent the region in its last cry for the Independence of Mexico. A road accident involving a foreign transport unit claimed the lives of four people in the Angostura area. The authorities must intervene and ensure that the operators are fit to drive, as well as the units, and something very important: that the roads are suitable, without potholes or animals.
