Konami and Sony have released a new trailer For Silent Hill 2in this case focused on the PS5 version specific featureswhich retrace what are now the cornerstones of the console, namely the features of the DualSense controller, 4K resolution, 3D audio and more.
The new trailer talks about total dive in the disturbing world of Silent Hill 2, and in fact what we see in the video is definitely in line with a modern and decidedly more advanced reconstruction of the terrifying town immersed in the fog, with an experience also enriched by the specific features of PS5.
Beyond these elements, the trailer also allows us to see some previously unreleased gameplay footage and new glimpses of the settings, confirming the idea that this remake is becoming more and more convincing as time goes by, as also emerged from our latest close contact.
PS5 Features and Console Exclusive End Date
As for the elements that form the basis of “PS5 immersion”, these are the classic ones, starting from the resolution “4K”, although there will be various asterisks on this aspect, as usually happens when talking about the actual quantity of pixels on the screen.
In any case, there is no doubt that the look of the new Silent Hill 2 is truly remarkable, as can also be seen from these scenes.
The video also describes the support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. DualSense as a way to “feel every visceral attack” and “sense every danger”, and this is a game that can actually make great use of those features.
Likewise, the3D audio integrated can amplify the atmosphere and sensations typical of Silent Hill 2, while in the end a particular element is also highlighted such as the possibility of activating the dynamic light bar of the controller to indicate the health level of the protagonist.
Also note that, at the end of the trailer, the reporting on the duration of the console exclusivity period has changed in favor of PS5: initially, it read that Silent Hill 2 would not be coming to other consoles for at least 12 months, now it is more precisely reported that the exclusivity ends is set for October 8, 2025.
