The recent PlayStation State of Play was loaded with several announcements and trailers. One of them was for the remake of Silent Hill 2 which showed us a little more of its history, introducing Angela Orosco, its gameplay and finally a release date for this reimagination.
The trailer focuses a lot on Angela Orosco as it shows us the first time she and James meet in Silent Hill 2. After this we see some sections that fans of the original game will recognize and that are closely linked to this character. As well as one of the most repulsive bosses in the original game.
Another focus of this new advancement is combat. Apparently they took note of the negative comments in the past, because this time they show us a slower fight. Still it looks like it will be much more active than the original with multiple enemies on screen at the same time and the ability to switch from firearms to melee weapons.
