It was And Triangle Strategy they got great votes on the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu; in this case three 9s and one 8, for a total of 35/40 for both titles.
Famitsu, the votes of the number 1735
- ELEX II (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One) – 8/7/7/7 [29/40]
- Sifu (PS5, PS4) – 9/9/9/8 [35/40]
- Sol Cresta (PS4, Switch) – 9/8/8/8 [33/40]
- Triangle Strategy (Switch) – 8/9/9/9 [35/40]
It went much less well at ELEX 2 (review), the project that marked the return of Piranha Bytes but that the Japanese editors did not particularly appreciate, giving it three 7s and an 8, for a total of 29/40.
There was a lot of curiosity about Triangle Strategy, which we tried recently: the new strategic RPG produced by Square Enix looks very promising and Famitsu’s rating bodes well for that.
It also went well with Sol Cresta, the classic shooter that inaugurates the NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series by PlatinumGames: the game took home three 8s and one 9, for a total of 33/40.
