Sifu is grinding successes.
It wasthe recently released kung-fu action game, may also come up PlayStation Plus, at least according to a recent glitch on the PlayStation Store. The title came out earlier this month and has garnered mostly positive reviews since, with the press praising the unique approach to game design, aesthetics and combat mechanics.
Sony regularly offers its premium subscribers extra games, discounts and free content. For those with a valid PS Plus membership, the Japanese gaming giant provides a selection of free games that is updated monthly. When a player owns a game that has been made available through one of these channels, a small golden “+” symbol will appear on the game’s icon, meaning it is associated with PlayStation Plus.
Well Sifu could join the ranks of these free games. If someone already owns Sifu and is looking at his library when in the browser version of the PlayStation Store, the aforementioned golden symbol will appear on the game icon, just like with other PS Plus games. This is a technical issue for now, as the game was not made available through the monthly subscription.
This is certainly a curious situation and could lead some to believe that the latest version of Sloclap will soon become free for PlayStation owners. It is not sure if this will happen given that Sifu has been launched a few weeks ago: we just have to wait for an official announcement from PlayStation.
