One of the populations most affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has been going on for five days, has been children. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior, 14 minors have died in the war and 116 have been wounded.
Precisely, the agency ‘Associated Press’ has shared a video in which a group of doctors tries to save a 6-year-old girl, seriously injured after a Russian bombardment in the city of Mariupol, in southern Ukraine.

The images show the moment when the little girl arrives in an ambulance at the hospital. One of the site workers yells, “Get her out of her! Get her out! We can make it!”.
“She was pale. Her brown hair was tied back with an elastic band. Her pajama bottoms were decorated with cartoon unicorns. She was brought to her father, also wounded, with a bloody and bandaged head,” wrote the journalist from ‘ AP’, Mstyslav Chernov.

The girl is carried on a stretcher by a group of doctors and nurses.
During the harrowing moment, as the group of health workers try to revive her with a defibrillator, a doctor in a blue uniform angrily tells reporters: “Show this to Putin. The eyes of this girl, and the doctors crying”.
“The girl, whose name is not known, could not be saved. A doctor slowly approached her face to close her eyes. Her body was left alone in the room, covered by her brightly colored polyester jacket, now splattered with blood. Chernov recounted.

On the other hand, the war in Ukraine has left more than 1,684 wounded and around 352 civilians dead, according to the Ministry of the Interior of that country.
“Most civilians were killed by explosive weapons with a wide impact area, including heavy artillery and multi-launch rocket systems, and in bombardments,” said UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet.
