The Russian army is “in fact, troops of constant readiness”, which is facilitated by sudden checks of servicemen. This was announced on Tuesday, August 10, by the Russian Minister of Defense, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, during his speech at the youth educational forum “Territory of Meanings”.
“Today we actually have permanent readiness troops. We do not have someone who needs to be collected from somewhere, to find, we have everything in constant readiness. Today I listened to the report – we have such formations, battalion-tactical groups. I pressed the button – they are ready to leave the gate in an hour. We have 168 of them today, and this is a very high figure, ”the Minister of War said.
Shoigu noted that surprise inspections began to be carried out “in an adult way” in 2012, and before that the Russian military had been aware of the upcoming inspection for a very long time.
“Sudden readiness is when you brushed your teeth in the morning:” Shouldn’t we check the Central Military District today together with the military transport aviation and airborne troops? ” – explained the general.
He shared that under such a scenario, about 140 thousand people, 2.5-3 thousand aircraft and helicopters, 14-17 thousand armored vehicles are lifted at a time, followed by a transfer to familiar stages.
Earlier the same day, on August 10, Sergei Shoigu announced that the most terrible threat to the country is the decay of society.
