The virtual President, Claudia Sheinbaum, celebrated that the Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) ratified that the economy is solid and that the volatility of the peso is temporary.
Yesterday, the Association indicated that the volatility in the financial markets since last June 2 is little and should not be scary.
Sheinbaum noted that what the Association said confirms that the economy is strong and supports what she and the federal government have maintained.
“The statement from the Association of Banks is very good, it says what we have been saying: that the economy is solid and that it is something transitory,” he said.
In his conference yesterday, Sheinbaum defended the reform of the Judiciary and emphasized that the Mexican economy is solid.
In addition, he rejected any nervousness. As an example, he stated that representatives of different foreign companies continue to express their desire to continue in the country.
Sheinbaum reported that this Thursday he will have internal activities, while tomorrow he will accompany President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on a tour that will begin in Pasta de Conchos, Coahuila.
