Acapulco, Mexico.– President Claudia Sheinbaum arrived this afternoon in Acapulco, Guerrero, to assess the damage after the passage of Hurricane “John”.
The federal president’s entrance was very hasty and she avoided being questioned by the press and limited herself to greeting.
Sheinbaum left the National Palace minutes before 12:00 p.m., aboard a black Suburban truck, similar to the one Andrés Manuel López Obrador used on his tours. This morning, in her first conference as federal president, Sheinbaum reported that she would travel by land to the Guerrero port.
The president will meet at 4:00 p.m. inside the Naval base with the governor of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado, and the governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla.ant
