The Dubai International Holy Quran Award has completed its preparations for the launch of the fifth edition of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition for Females, which will be held in the Culture and Science Symposium Hall in Dubai during the period from (20-27) November.
Adviser to His Highness the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Award, Counselor Ibrahim Mohammed Bumelha, said: “The Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak competition is one of the main branches of the award, and receives special attention, in appreciation of the personality (Mother of the Emirates) and her important and pioneering role in the care and encouragement of memorizers and memorizers. The Book of God, and to many charitable and humanitarian works sponsored by Her Highness in many Arab countries and the Islamic world.
He added that all the committees and work teams of the award have completed their preparations for the launch of this Quranic event, in which memorizers of the Noble Qur’an from 50 countries and Muslim communities around the world compete. Al-Qarani is distinguished, and the arrival of the contestants will start in the country on the 17th, 18th and 19th of November.
He explained that an international jury was selected from among the senior arbitrators with experience in the field of arbitration in international competitions, and another committee was chosen to conduct preliminary tests for the contestants upon their arrival in the country to ensure that they memorized the Holy Qur’an.
