Daredevil is back! Chapter 8 of “She-Hulk” —the penultimate of the Marvel television series on Disney+— finally brought what fans had been waiting for for months: the appearance of the ‘Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’. charlie cox returns to the MCU once again as lawyer Matt Murdock, along with Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, in a chapter with the right dose of action and romance that the show needed.
What happened in this new episode and how was the participation of ‘The man without fear’? We tell you in the next note with SPOILERS.
Matt Murdock vs. Jenn Walters: Battle of the Lawyers
Matt Murdock’s entry could not have been more than a direct message to the fans: “I’m here,” says the red-glasses lawyer as he bursts into court. His contender for him? Jennifer Walters, who defends Leap-Frog.
Later, after Murdock crushes Walters on the case, they meet at a bar, where they share a drink and exchange smiles and advice. In other words: a more than obvious flirtation takes place.
Immediately, we went to what we wanted to see: a showdown between She-Hulk and Daredevil! The brief duel ends with Jenn unmasking the ‘Devil’, who tells him the truth about his client.
A curiosity is that, when Daredevil explains his name to the green heroine, the intro of his individual series is heard, a clear reference to his previous show on Netflix.
“The devil got into you”
Finally, after the alliance formed by both heroes and lawyers —and a sexual tension which grows rapidly—She-Hulk and Daredevil end up in bed and spend a passionate night together.
The next morning, we see Matt Murdock walking out of Jenn’s house barefoot. And all these incidents end with Nikki arriving at her best friend’s house and a more than suggestive joke: “The devil got in.”
