A video from the social network TikTok captured the attention of Internet users: a confused father scolded his daughter for not studying and wanting to get involved in the world of networks as an ‘influencer’.
“She had run away from home because she wanted to do ‘tiktoks’, here I brought her to the play so she can see what it’s like to earn money. Money costs sweat”, shared the user @susyjimenez.
– What do you think of the school, mija? she insisted.
“That is useless,” she replied.
“You still have the same mentality,” said the man.
– I will be able to earn much more being an ‘influencer’ than studying and having a profession – assured the young woman.

Do you know what awaits people who have that mentality?
The father recorded the entire conversation to share it, precisely on TikTok, as a lesson for future generations. Besides, He took his daughter to a construction site to show her what his job would be like if he were a bricklayer.
“Do you know what awaits people who have that mentality? It is waiting for them to mix (for construction). It is a very honorable job, but hard and not everyone can do it, ”she maintained.
He then urged the teenager to pick up a lump of cement and “throw it over her shoulder.” However, she was unable to do so due to the obvious weight of the material.
“Do you know why you can’t lift it? Because you’re not cut out for these things, Estrella. You were raised delicately, but the real world is tough. You have to earn your money by the sweat of your brow. It’s either that or go begging,” she mentioned.
The father continued with his speech, while other construction workers watched the situation. Although he said it was an honest job, he emphasized to his daughter that this was not the way and she could be a professional if she prepared herself and stayed away from the networks.: “Doing ‘tiktoks’ is not going to do you any good.”

Due to the father’s accent, it is presumed that the video was recorded in Mexico.
