The Sharjah Child-Friendly Office concluded its annual campaign, coinciding with the return of students to schools, which it organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection through social media and at the Child Center in the Al Qarayen area, where children and parents benefited from the advice of a number of experts and specialists who focused on the need to take care of children’s health and give them Adequate opportunities for play and sports. The sessions drew the attention of parents to international studies that confirm the importance of physical activity and the need for children and adolescents to have at least 60 minutes of exercise per day.
Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Health Sector at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, said: The importance of the campaign launched by the Sharjah Child-Friendly Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention to provide advice on taking care of children’s health, coinciding with the return of students to schools lies in improving health practices in the society.
