This came when the “Arab Youth Center” launched the results of the working paper on developing youth skills in the Arab region, in conjunction with the activities of the “International Youth Skills Day”, which is celebrated by the countries of the world and the various organizations, institutions and sectors concerned with youth work since its adoption by the United Nations in 2014. .
Her Excellency stressed that the leadership of the UAE has always been keen on empowering young talents with skills that turn creative ideas into reality, and investing in the projects and initiatives of the Federal Youth Foundation and the Arab Youth Center to develop skills, noting that empowering skills is what has contributed to the country’s record achievements since its union was established fifty years ago. year, and will contribute to designing the next fifty years leading up to the UAE Centennial 2071. On the occasion of the International Youth Skills Day, Her Excellency called for concerted efforts of various youth work institutions and stakeholders to empower young people with skills that meet the requirements and changing needs of the future, and to provide quality training and advanced academic, technical and professional education It gives young people the tools and capabilities to design their future, which will positively reflect on building flexible economies that provide job opportunities, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation of new ideas, in addition to the achievement of societies and countries’ development goals locally and globally.
Saeed Al-Nazari, Director General of the Federal Youth Foundation and Chief Strategy Officer at the Arab Youth Center, said: “Flexibility, speed of adaptation, and the ability to adapt to changes are necessary factors for future success. These skills are essential in the Emirati youth empowerment model based on character building, identity strengthening and providing an enabling environment, through qualitative programs and initiatives such as the National Program for Programmers recently launched by the UAE to empower youth skills in programming and technology disciplines.
