In statements to “Sky News Arabia”, Ezz explained the content of the first call that she sang in the procession of the opening of the Rams Road, pointing out that “it is a glorification of Amun and an invitation to celebrate the feast of Opet, which was characterized by the city of Luxor.”
She explained that singing in the ancient Egyptian language is not easy at all, and she faced many difficulties in that, but as she is a graduate of languages and translation, and loves to learn languages, this helped her and motivated her a lot during the preparations.
She indicated that the preparations took a long time, but she was keen to make her participation in the best possible way, worthy of the important event that represents her country.
Regarding her participation in the “Road of Rams” celebration, Ezz said: “Since the celebration of the transfer of the royal mummies last April, I hope very much to participate in such celebrations.”
She indicated that her participation came from the Egyptian maestro Nader Abbasi, who is responsible for the musical direction of the procession that accompanied the celebration, as her father played him a song for her, which won his admiration and the admiration of the organizers of the celebration.
And about her and her father’s participation in one celebration, where she sang the first call, and her father, Ezz El Fleet, sang a hymn to a priest worshiping Amon, she said: “It is a beautiful and different feeling to participate with my father in one work.”
Ezz concluded her speech by saying that she was very happy with all the responses as soon as the celebration ended, noting that there were many who were keen to congratulate her as soon as she got off the stage.
