NIS America has released a new trailer for Shadow Corridor, in which we will be able to preview the mode Apparition Defender. In this game mode the roles will be reversed, we will in fact take on the role of one of the many spirits afflicted by the curse of the Noh mask and we will have to go hunting for human beings.
Before leaving you to the trailer I remind you that Shadow Corridor will be available in Europe from October 26th exclusively digitally on Nintendo Switch. If you want to know more about the game you can find a lot of information in our previous article. Good vision.
Shadow Corridor – Apparition Defender
Shadow Corridor – Overview
Taking inspiration from its Japanese roots, Shadow Corridor is set in a world based on traditional locations. The game features a variety of maps, each randomly generated for each match. Additionally, useful items are scattered throughout each map, and these can have both passive and active effects. Without a flashlight or other light source, the player is truly immersed in darkness and will not be able to see more than a few meters in front of them.
Shadow Corridor also features a variety of different ghosts, each with their own unique appearance and ability. The spirits of Noh’s cursed mask roam the halls using the game’s intuitive AI, and react to stimuli such as the light and sound of the player’s footsteps. This title allows its players to select the difficulty, ranging from novice to Shura, allowing both new and veteran survival horror players to test their skills. In addition, the new “Apparition Defenders” mode will give the opportunity to take on the role of ghosts and hunt humans.
All previously released downloadable content will be included in the Nintendo Switch version.
- Immersed in the curse – Let yourself be enveloped by a world of darkness and spirits. The eerie atmosphere coupled with the omnipresent appearances of the cursed Noh mask will keep your heart in turmoil and your senses on edge.
- Unpredictable horror – Do you think you have found the correct path? Don’t be too sure! Each area is randomized every time you play, requiring you to look for new ways to survive against your horrific pursuers.
- Outsmart the spirits: Search for items in each area to survive longer, and pay attention to your surroundings as you wander down the hall. Be careful – even your flashlight and footsteps can attract evil spirits to you!
