It did not take long for him to issue a statement Sevilla FC to clarify the situation with the peñistas, and categorically deny that he has broken off relations with the Federation of Peñas San Fernando, also ensuring that it is not precisely what has been expressed to the president, Carlos Jiménez, but that what there is in reality is a change in the management of tickets, both in the box and in the protocol for the matches, according to the club’s version, which has come to the fore of the long statement from the aforementioned organization.
Specifically, there are three measures that the red and white team has determined with respect to direct dealings with the Federation of Supporters Clubs, something that it has conveyed to its managers and is stated again in the letter:
1. The club has considered it appropriate to change the procedure for the delivery of box tickets and protocol, which until now was managed by the board of the Federation of Supporters Clubs. For the sake of transparency and good use of these, from the next match at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, against Real Sociedad, all these tickets that The club gladly gives in to the supporters clubs and will manage directly with them.and not through the board or its president, Carlos Jiménez.
2. For the same reasons, will manage directly with the clubs, and not through the Federation boardtransportation to the different supporters club matches, buses for children and preference in purchasing tickets for Sevilla FC trips so that the supporters clubs are the ones present at said matches.
3. Likewise, and after the demand made by the supporters club members who were present, including the Federation board, on September 12 at the ‘Dialogue Table’ meeting with the president of Sevilla FC, the club has had to consider these requests and give in to the clubs of each city where the first team travels to play in official competition a quota of tickets for each match. The entity also wants to remember how existing the deal is with the Federation of Supporters Clubs, which occupies, and will continue to do so, a location in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium, property of Sevilla FC, which they continue to use.
Finally, Sevilla wanted to reiterate that it participates as an entity in events organized by the clubs in which it is required, either with physical presence and representation, such as the 25th anniversary of the Peña de El Saucejo last Friday where the president of the entity, José María del Nido Carrasco, or with contributions of different types in the different events they carry out during the season. And he concludes the statement with the following statement: «Sevilla FC expresses its deep respect for the peñistas, all Sevillistas, and expresses his astonishment for the statements made by the FPS board in its statement, which in no case correspond to reality.
