Seven people die in a factory fire in Russia

At least seven people have died this Friday because of a fire registered in a factory in the Russian region of Riazan, located in the west of the country, as confirmed by the authorities.

The Russian Emergency Ministry has indicated that, according to preliminary data, one person has been hospitalized and nine have been reported missing, as reported by the Sputnik news agency.

Likewise, the provincial Ministry of Health has spoken of five deaths and added that the fire was caused by a violation of procedures, without giving more details about it.

For their part, local emergency services have pointed out in statements given to Sputnik that the flames started in the gunpowder production workshop, without pointing to the possible causes of the event.
