Two cars collided
They are serious a dad and 7 year old son after one head-on collision in Rome on the Via Aurelia. The accident took place at kilometer 36 north of Rome, between Ladispoli and Santa Marinella. The man was taken by air ambulance to the Gemelli Polyclinic due to the severe health conditions reported after the crash.
The accident took place on Sunday 25 September on Via Aurelia, in the stretch that runs alongside the coast north of the capital. Around 3.30 pm at kilometer 36 of the state road, between Ladispoli and Marina di San Nicola, two cars collided.
The two cars that collided on the Aurelia are one Fiat Pandaled by a man, and one Opelon which traveled a family consisting of the father, who was driving, the mother and two children, one of which the 7-year-old boy was taken to hospital.
The Traffic Police and come on Carabinieri promptly reached the place of the accident. The agents had to close the highway in both directions, to allow rescue operations. The other cars continued on another route, due to the diverted road network.
