The Federation of Industry, Construction and Agro of UGT Aragón, FICA UGT Aragón, has celebrated its Zaragoza its 16 Regional Congress within which the Renewal of the Executive Commission And in which it has re -elected Sergio Sancho as Secretary General.
The new executive, chosen with 97.27% of the votes, will make up of 15 members. In this way, Sergio Sancho will be accompanied by Sergio Ordovás in the Secretary of Organization and Administration; Javier Ibáñez in the Ministry of Trade Union Action and External Area, and Carlos Dalmau in the Ministry of Communication, Training and New Technologies.
In the Ministry of Equality, Social Responsibility and Youth will be Leticia Gascón, while in the Territorial Secretariat of Huesca there will be Laura Ortiz and, in Teruel, with Cristóbal Lacruz.
The new executive is also formed by Agustín Serrano, in the Ministry of Environment; Carlos Monzón, in the Ministry of Occupational Health and Sector of Energy and Water; Martín Larra in the Secretariat of the Agrifood Sector; Ruth Urbano, in the Ministry of Team and ICT Assets, and Lorena Urquíz in the Secretariat of the Automobile Sector.
Finally, Francisco García has been chosen for the Secretariat of the Chemical, Textile and Graphic Arts sector, as well as Manuel Grande, in the Secretariat of the Construction and Mining Sector, and with Luis Correas in the Secretariat of the Siderometallurgical Sector.
During the Congress, the management carried out by the regional bodies of the mandate that ends, which has been supported with 100% of the votes has also been analyzed, apart from discussing the proposals for the next four yearsthat go through a “model of modern, competitive and sustainable industry that promotes the economic growth and well -being of Aragon, in addition to a reference in labor relations through Collective agreements with good salaries and working conditions“
Along these lines, Sergio Sancho has indicated that he will work to defend and improve the working conditions of all industrial sectors, supported by the organization’s experience with more than 130 years of history.
In addition, during his speech after his re -election, he has also influenced the need to adapt to the new times of the current industry in which he explained that “technology, Digitization and robotization are present in sectors such as automotive, construction or agricultural sector, which are updating to be a claim “in Aragon.
Sancho has alluded to the projects and investments that are arriving on which he has pointed out that the autonomous community is energizing, so he has defended the role of training as a “distinctive” element to prepare workers in a more modern industry.
The Congress has also intervened the Secretary General of UGT Aragón, José Juan Arceiz, who has valued the consensus and support of the organization to the candidacy of Sergio Sancho, in the context of the congressman process of the regional federations in which the union is immersed and that is an example of “cohesion and union” of the organization.
