Russian actor and producer Sergei Zhigunov filed a lawsuit with the Lefortovo court in Moscow against the film company Amedia Production because of the drama series for Channel One, which he created. Zhigunov’s words leads Starhit.
The subject of the proceedings was the rights to a new serial film about the fascist occupation “In the Chair Park” with Anton Khabarov and Lyubov Konstantinova in the lead roles. It is noted that the studio refused to recognize Zhigunov as a co-author of the show’s script. “I am a co-author of this project. For a year and a half, he led the author’s group and carried out production, we have all the evidence of this, which will be presented in court in the near future, “Zhigunov said.
It is known that the first court hearing in this case took place on November 11, and a new session is scheduled for December 9. In his commentary for Starhit, Zhigunov emphasized that the owner of Amedia Production is the Access Industries industrial and financial group of Leonard Blavatnik, a member of the Forbes list, a benefactor and patron of the arts. “Realizing that this process will deal a blow to the business reputation of both him and the First Channel, for which this television product is being filmed, I made every effort to resolve the conflict out of court. I am sincerely sorry that “Amedia” did not go to meet me. Now I intend to defend my position in court, ”concluded the actor and producer.
In February of this year, it was reported that Sergei Zhigunov was left without a Moscow apartment due to debts. This decision was made by the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow.
