Users are accusing Xbox Of not having advertised the launch of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2which is now imminent: the new title developed by Ninja Theory will be available on PC and Xbox Series
It actually seems like it’s raining wet, if we consider the fierce controversies after the closure of Tango Gameworks and Arkane Austin, which it was feared could overshadow an important and long-awaited debut like that of Hellblade 2. The point is that, upon closer inspection, there is little to obscure.
According to what was reported by Aaron Greenberg, in fact, the paid promotional campaign for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 only started yesterday and in these hours a special event organized for a selection of YouTubers is taking place in Iceland.
An effective campaign?
Greenberg was keen to point out that the game will be advertised on various platforms (YouTube, HBO, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Search and Samsung), attaching screenshots that demonstrate the promotional campaigns in question, as if to justify themselves in the face of criticism.
Given the relevance of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 in this year’s Xbox calendar, it would obviously be reasonable to expect a broader commitment not concentrated in the last ten daysthe validity and effectiveness of which remains to be verified.
The fact is that some posts that appeared on the official Xbox profile gave a wake-up call to users, who pointed out how much it was skimpy and essential the communication relating to the new Ninja Theory game, especially after years of waiting.
