More than 6,500 applicants who did not get a place in the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex) They will be able to enter one of the schools of the state educational system, or continue their training in high school or undergraduate degree with the highest Mexican school of studies.
UAEMex will offer 2 thousand 817 places in the upper middle level and 3 thousand 725 for the higher, in degrees related to health, the environment, computer science, accounting, administration, tourism, law and education, among other areas.
For its part, the agency has 16 educational programs and it has a presence -through 120 schools- in more than 70 municipalities.
This action is part of the Strategic Agreement for Higher and Higher Secondary Education, which was signed between the Ministry of Education and the house auriverde.
Commitment to education
In this regard, the rector of the UAEMex, Carlos Eduardo Barrera, said that this inter-institutional agreement pays for an achievement that commits to consolidate the challenge of raising educational quality to the degree of excellence, which society and the modern world demand.
In his opportunity, the Minister of Education, Gerardo Monroy, stressed that for almost 200 years, the green and gold house represents a pillar in the training field and is a national benchmark for higher education institutions. The entity “requires capable professionals to face current job challenges.”
He also affirmed that “we are prepared for the safe return to classes with adherence to all the protocols established at the national and international level.”
The university and the state administration, he concluded, they will work in coordination so that young people do not abandon their studies within a framework of inclusion and equal educational opportunities.
