Recently, it was announced the new number of Sebastián Córdova with the Eagles from America, since he will wear the 10 in the Apertura 2021, inheriting the club’s historical number as Cuauhtémoc White.
In addition to inheriting 10, Córdova is one of the eagle players that are part of the Olympic team competing in Tokyo 2020 and during the quarterfinals against South Korea he excelled with two goals in a 6-3 triumph.
The first of them fell before the end of the first half by way of the penalty after a push on Uriel Antuna in the area. Given this, the Mexican decided to celebrate it in a big way and emulated the Cuau.
Córdova threw himself on the grass and put his right hand on his head and his left hand on his waist, movement that -among others- made famous the former Americanist.
Later, at 61 ‘, Sebastián Córdova shot with his left foot from outside the area and put the fifth goal on the scoreboard in favor of the Tricolor, in a match that ended with a resounding 6-3.
