The Board of Directors of the Professional League approved the amendments to the club licensing regulations for the 2022-2023 licensing cycle, and also reviewed the preparations for the Professional League Awards ceremony, where the voting for candidates for the awards begins on August 2, and ends on the fifth of it, and the winners will be announced in a ceremony to be held on August 16.
This came during the first periodic meeting of the 2021-2022 season, which was held with “remotely” visual communication technology, headed by Abdullah Nasser Al-Junaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by Jamal Hamed Al-Marri, Vice President, Muhammad Obaid Al-Yamahi, Hassan Talib Al-Marri, Tariq Ali Al-Shabibi, Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi and Jawaher Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, members of the Board of Directors, Musab Al Marzouqi, Director of the Support Services Sector, and Dr. Khaled Mohamed Abdullah, business development consultant.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors reviewed the preparations for the launch of the new season 2021-2022, in which the ambitions will be great, with the Association seeking to take developmental steps at all levels to enhance the status of the professional championships and continue to build on the efforts that have been achieved.
The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation and thanks to the football companies in the clubs for their great efforts in preparation for the new season, not only in terms of preparing their teams for professional competitions, but also through the work they are doing to prepare the facilities of stadiums, facilities and work teams in accordance with the specifications and standards necessary to ensure the quality of competitions and continue to hold them according to the best and latest steps that make the league assume the continental leadership in accordance with the strategic plan of the League 2020-2023.
During the meeting, the distribution of distributions to professional football companies for the 2020-2021 season was also approved.
The Council was briefed on the developments of sponsorship and marketing, and technical matters, by reviewing and reviewing the reports of the committees in order to discuss the implementation of the best measures necessary to ensure sustainable development efforts.
