Sean ‘Diddy’ lawyers have asked a federal judge in New York to delay their trial for sex trafficking of May 5 for two months to be able to Prepare the defense.
The lawyers said Wednesday in a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian that prosecutors have been “Slow when delivering some potential evidence for review”which makes it difficult to be ready in three weeks.
For their part, prosecutors have opposed the application. Subramanian wrote in an order responding to the request for delay of the trial that will address the subject during an audience scheduled for Friday. Prior to the hearing, the judge wrote, “both parties must proceed as if the trial of beginning of May remained standing.”
