“After only ten days from the beginning of the new school year, it is with bitterness and concern that the interventions that could guarantee the reopening of schools in complete safety have not been adopted”. The principals are alarmed by the reopening of schools with the numbers of the Covid 19 pandemic rising again and this can be seen from the words of the president of the National Association of School Managers (Andis), Paolino Marotta.
“There are other important issues to be urgently addressed in the procedures that schools must adopt to ascertain possession of the green certification and for the suspension of teachers without a green pass; the periodicity of diagnostic swabs for personnel in a condition of fragility; the appointment of temporary alternates in the first four days of suspension from the service of the holder without a green pass and the operating difficulties of the hundreds of educational institutions assigned to the regency “.
That a few days after the reopening of the schools the situation is far from being resolved also reaffirms it Mario Rusconi, president of the National Association of Principals of Rome: “We are on the high seas on the Green Pass issue. We are waiting for indications to understand how to proceed. But if schools have to check the certificates of teachers and staff every day, we risk starting at noon. There seems to be a tug-of-war between the Guarantor for privacy and the ministry, we hope a solution will soon be found. There are only a few days left, we cannot remain in this impasse ”.
And also the national president of the PNA, Antonello Giannelli he affirms that: “Ten days before the start of the new school year, the orderly start of activities is jeopardized by problems to which an effective and univocal solution has not yet been provided. The administration must promptly provide clear answers that prevent schools and their managers from exposing themselves to difficulties that appear unmanageable and insurmountable at the moment as well as certain disputes “.
