All “flatly false.” The PSOE reacted this Thursday to the businessman’s statement Victor de Aldama before the National Court in which he accused Santos Cerdansecretary of a socialist organization, to collect commissions. Aldama has also pointed out Pedro Sanchez. Some facts that the PSOE denies and that have led to the announcement that legal actions will be initiated against one of the most involved in the ‘Koldo case’.
It was Cerdán himself who came forward to address the accusations in statements to the media in Congress. “It has no credibility,” said the socialist leader. “He is in preventive detention, he has attacked everyone, without evidence and with lies,” he added.. Cerdán has highlighted that Aldama “has no relationship” with Sánchez. Not with himself either. “I don’t even know him, he can never say that he has been with me,” he added.
“He will have to respond to legal actions. We have not received money, neither Ángel Víctor Torres, nor Carlos Moreno nor me. He has never been with me, let the cell phones geolocate, he does not know me personally. He has never been with me,” added Cerdán . Socialist sources highlight that Cerdán does not know Aldama “neither by sight, nor by passing each other in a hallway.”
For all this, for the “imputation of crimes” made to the socialist leader, the PSOE has reported that “it will immediately initiate legal action against Víctor de Aldama if the information that appeared in the press about his testimony before the investigating judge is confirmed.”
De Aldama has told the judge that he gave money intended for Cerdán; specifically, 15,000 euros. He gave former minister José Luis Ábalos 250,000 euros and another 100,000 to Koldo García, Ábalos’ advisor. The businessman has also indicated that the former Canarian president and current minister Ángel Víctor Torres asked for 50,000 euros, according to sources present in the statement.
