The head of the Cabinet, Santiago Cafiero, rejected this Thursday that workers who are not vaccinated against the coronavirus are not paid wages.
“There should not be any health policy dictated by the companies,” he emphasized when rejecting the initiative proposed by the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA).
For the official, the salary cut “does not correspond” and stressed that “Argentina is one of the countries that has been vaccinating the most at this time; there is a great acceptance by the population.”
“Therefore, there cannot be a sanction policy linked to that if the vaccine is optional,” said the coordinating minister in statements made this morning to radio La Red.
