The Slovenian Primoz Roglic took advantage of an attack in the last three kilometers of the sixth stage, which he won, and is the new leader of the Criterium Dauphiné, in which the Colombian Santiago Buitrago suffered in the final and left the top twenty of the general classification.

However, a signaling error by the organizers caused the escapees to take a wrong path and lose about a minute of the advantage they had. Finally, they were all neutralized on the last climb. Gregoire was the last, 4 km from the finish line, in a dramatic scene: he ended up bleeding from the nose.
Before starting the stage, one of the top ten overall had retired, the Spaniard Juan Ayuso, who was affected in the fall on Thursday and preferred to abandon to take care of himself for the Tour de France.
The fight for the stage and the general classification was marked by an attack by Primoz Roglic, who knew how to bide his time to achieve partial victory ahead of Giulio Ciccone. Remco Evenepoel lost 42 seconds at the finish line and with that, gave up the leader’s yellow jersey to the Slovenian.
In the general classification, Roglic is the leader with 19 seconds ahead of Remco and 58 seconds ahead of the American Matteo Jorgenson.
The queen stage of the Criterium Dauphiné will be run this Saturday, with four mountain prizes.
