Santa Fe lost in an incredible way in Bucaramanga, where they won 0-1 in the 90th minute and lost with two goals from Dayro Moreno in the replacement, this Friday, at the Alfonso López stadium.
It was a game of waves, with a lot of intensity, with two teams that ran a lot and attacked a lot, especially in the first half. The first to look for options was Santa Fe, who made Bucaramanga’s defense suffer with the projection of José Enamorado, and who in the first ten minutes was able to take advantage.
But after that start from Santa Fe, perhaps the best of the semester, it was Bucaramanga that got into the game and made goalkeeper Leandro Castellanos a figure, who prevented the locals from going to rest on at least three occasions in a advantage that they had been working well.
The changes had done Santa Fe good.
Alfredo Arias, the Santa Fe coach had to suffer again due to injuries and another expulsion, which came later. Jonathan Herrera could not finish the first half and in his place Carlos Moreno entered. And then, in the intermission, he moved the payroll and the changes came out: Carlos Lizarazo and Wilfrido de la Rosa left and Neyder Moreno and Andrey Estupiñán arrived. And there, the Reds got into the game.
In a corner kick charge, at 13 of the second half, Neyder sent the ball to the heart of the area and there, without stopping it, the Uruguayan Jonathan Barboza scored 0-1 for Santa Fe.
The Reds controlled the game and Bucaramanga did not have the same flow as the first half. But the night came to Santa Fe in five minutes, when the DT had already made two changes to take care of the score.
At 42, Edwin Herrera was sent off for a tackle on a rival. At 45+1, in another corner kick, Yeison Moreno combed the near post and Dayro Moreno headed in the second to tie the match.
Dayro brace in replacement
Bucaramanga was emboldened and in the next play, in a potshot, the same protagonists gave Armando ‘Piripi’ Osma’s team the winning goal, in a ball that Yeison lowered and Dayro put in, on his 37th birthday.
Santa Fe stayed in sixth place, with 18 points, but with the risk of going down when the rest of the date is played. Many times he won in the ‘Minute of God’. This time he had to lose in his law…
