Fiorello bursts into the first evening of Sanremo 2024 with the connection from outside the Ariston. “Have you seen the cape? To do all this stuff we took the budget of an episode of Bella Ma' on Raidue”, Fiorello tells Amadeus. The cape has a message for the artistic director: 'Love think free… It's the last'. The reference is to the last Festival that Amadeus should host and the message is delivered with an item of clothing reminiscent of the one worn a year ago by Chiara Ferragni. “This was supposed to be the ending, but I thought 'I'd better play it straight away' given all these alarms…”, adds Fiorello. “Maybe you didn't notice one thing: you sat on the legs of a gentleman in the audience. Do you know who he is? He is the president of Rai Cinema“, says Fiorello referring to Nicola Claudio, who Amadeus did not recognize.”You looked like Rosa Chemical, I thought 'do you want to see Amadeus turn around and make out with the president…”.
