On the occasion of TinyBuild Connect which aired this evening, the first was presented gameplay trailer Of Sandan open-world first-person shooter with PvPvE combat, while announcing the arrival of a beta this summer.
The film in particular focuses on the PvP matches of this peculiar title, where players control gigantic machines with mechanical legs, called Tramplers, which move in the desert of the inhospitable planet Sophie. As we can see, it will be possible to engage in battles between Tramplers using cannons and other uppercut weapons, or to board and face the players head-on with firearms, such as rifles and pistols.
The Sand beta begins this summer
Sand is set in an alternate universe, where in 1910 humanity began exploring space and colonizing other planets, with the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the forefront. Sophie was a planet rich in resources, but an environmental catastrophe struck it, forcing much of the population to flee. Now only a few daredevils come to this planet to search for treasures of immeasurable value.
In addition to in battle, the Tramplers are a pillar of the all-round gameplay dynamics, given that they represent the only safe means of moving between the sandy lands infested with monsters, as well as other players, and at the same time represent a mobile base to build and enhance as desired.
Sand is currently in development for PC and will be released on Steam, but does not yet have an official launch window. On the other hand, as mentioned at the beginning, a beta is on the way, which will take place during this summer. If you are interested you can sign up at this address.
