Genoa – Livigno will host Sampdoria’s 2023 summer retreat in preparation for the next Serie B championship. The Dorians will reach the ‘Little Tibet‘ on 12 July and will remain in the locality until 23 July, thus completing a full-bodied and central part of their approach to the start of the 2023/2024 season on high ground.
The withdrawal of the team will have as a nerve center the Coni Aquagranda Olympic Training Centrethe flagship of the Livigno plant proposal which, with a fully equipped 700 square meter gym, an approved athletics track and an Olympic swimming pool, will allow the technicians Andrea Pirlo to enjoy the benefits ofaltitude training. And the new head coach is the most eagerly awaited man of the Sampdoria training camp: the 2006 World Cup champion from Germany returns to his seat on an Italian bench after the experience with Juventus of the post-Sarri, in 2020/2021 and after the Turkish parenthesis of last season, to Fatih Karagumrük, team of the metropolitan municipality of Istanbul.
