Lieutenant-General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honored a number of personalities who support the global “Waterfalls” initiative, who have contributed exceptionally to supporting the achievement of the goals of this initiative, which was launched from the UAE to the world as a pioneering initiative through the management of behavioral rewards In the Ministry of Possibilities, in cooperation with Index Holding Company, as part of efforts to support the first line of defense of workers in the medical and health sectors around the world.
His Highness stressed that international cooperation and the integration of sincere efforts are the way to achieve great humanitarian goals and ambitions.
His Highness said, in a tweet on his Twitter account: “International cooperation and the integration of sincere efforts… are the way to achieve great humanitarian goals and ambitions… and appreciation is due for the efforts of the Mediterranean Parliament in supporting the global Waterfalls initiative for the safety and happiness of mankind.”
His Highness awarded the Community Service Medal to Gennaro Migliori, Member of the Italian Parliament, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, Dr. Sergio Piazzi, Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, from Italy, and Majali Wehbe, Israel’s Ambassador to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and its Ambassador to the United Nations, Ambassador Gerhard Putman Kramer, Executive Director of DIHAD Foundation for Sustainable Humanitarian Action, Permanent Observer of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Abdel Salam Al Madani, President of Index Holding, and Amin Awad, United Nations Crisis Coordinator in Ukraine, Senior Fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative, Harvard University, Cambridge, in the United States of America, and Dr. Ali Al-Sayed Hussain, Director of the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Services at the Dubai Health Authority, President of the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition for Pharmaceuticals and Technology “DUPHAT”, and Dr. Ramadan Al Balushi, Consultant Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Public Health Officer at the Dubai Health Authority, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Future of Health Care Summit in the UAE United Arab Emirates, Dr. Fawzi Amin, Head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ delegation to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Dr. Kamal Ben Mansour, Director of the Dental Communication Group, Secretary General of the Arab Dental Federation, General Secretary of the Maghreb Dental Federation.
His Highness also honored 197 male and female doctors from inside and outside the UAE who made outstanding efforts and participated in providing specialized lectures within the initiative, thus contributing to the success and support of its humanitarian goals by providing continuing education and specialized training to enable one million people who are specialists in the medical sector through specialized educational sessions approved by Globally recognized bodies and organizations to complete the educational process in light of the conditions accompanying the Corona Virus “Covid 19” pandemic. These honored personalities have contributed exceptionally to the success of the global “Waterfalls” initiative, and the delivery of its goals to all parts of the world by broadcasting their messages through forums, forums and regional forums. These personalities also submitted nominations for participating doctors and lecturers with advanced experiences, and some of them personally participated in providing these specialized lectures.
It is noteworthy that the global “Waterfalls” initiative came in accordance with the vision of the wise leadership in the United Arab Emirates and from a global standpoint, as it directed all health sector workers around the world to provide academic support and specialized training for free through lectures and workshops, which have benefited 1,299,667 from Workers in the health sectors, presented by more than 353 specialists through 568 lectures. The academic materials and content presented in the “Waterfalls” initiative were approved by 6 prestigious scientific institutions, more than 41 international associations, societies and academics, and the initiative participated in 17 specialized medical conferences and exhibitions around the world, and the initiative included 15 biomedical sectors.
