The traffic police warned residents of five regions of Russia about mass checks on the roads in November. This is reported on the websites of the regional traffic police.
Checks are expected in the Chelyabinsk, Samara, Ivanovo, Belgorod regions and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
So, traffic police officers in the Chelyabinsk region from 12 to 26 November will conduct measures for the prevention of collisions with pedestrians. Explanatory work will be carried out with road users using loud-speaking devices and propaganda leaflets. Also, pedestrians will be told about the need to use reflective elements in clothing at night.
The traffic police department for the Samara region, in turn employs in raids the maximum number of employees, including the management team. “To identify drunken motorists, traffic police crews, using the group method of service, carry out the so-called continuous checks, stopping all passing cars and checking their drivers,” the inspection said in a statement. Checks will take place on November 13 and 14.
Similar raids will take place over the weekend in the Ivanovo region. In the regional traffic police notedthat over the past four days, traffic police have identified and suspended 20 drunk drivers from driving.
Belgorod inspectors organized “Continuous work off” to identify drunk drivers in one area – Volokonovsky – and five urban districts: Alekseevsky, Yakovlevsky, Starooskolsky, Novooskolsky and Gubkinsky. They will also take measures to prevent collisions with pedestrians and violations of the rules for transporting children.
Raids to identify drunk drivers will take place and on the roads of Kabardino-Balkaria.
