Russians vaccinated against coronavirus need to be given a 10 percent discount on housing and communal services (HCS) for a period of six months. Such a proposal was made by the deputy head of the economic committee of the Federation Council (SF) Ivan Abramov, reports RIA News…
According to Abramov, providing a discount is cheaper than treating those infected with COVID-19. Specialized assistance, equipment, opening of additional hospitals are expensive for the country, said the member of the Federation Council.
“Benefits for housing and communal services can be provided to citizens for vaccination for six months,” said Senator Abramov. – Based on the average payment for housing and communal services in the country, it costs an average of 300 rubles per person. If you multiply them by six months, that’s 1.8 thousand rubles. “
Mass vaccination will allow to quickly restore the Russian economy, the senator said, so the funds spent on compensating discounts for housing and communal services will pay off with interest.
Earlier, State Duma Deputy Vasily Vlasov said that it is necessary to provide a 50 percent discount on public transport for Russians who have been vaccinated against coronavirus. The parliamentarian has already sent a letter to the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov.
