Russian tourists began to massively book tours to Belarus to celebrate the New Year. The fact that compatriots rushed to a winter holiday in a neighboring country was told to Lenta.ru by the Russian Union of Tourism Industry (RST), with reference to the tour operator Alean.
It is clarified that the demand for hotels has increased by 28 percent compared to 2023. Particularly popular is a trip from December 31 to January 2 for 57 thousand rubles for two, excluding transport costs.
It was previously reported that by the New Year the cost of holidays abroad will increase by at least 30 percent. We are talking about such popular destinations as Egypt, Thailand and the Maldives.
