Russia’s Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft carrying cosmonaut Alexander Misorkin, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and his business assistant Yuzu Hirano has landed safely in the plains of Kazakhstan, the mission control center said Monday.
Russia’s TASS news agency reported that rescuers helped the crew members get out. The three have been in space since December 8.
This is the first tourist trip in 12 years in which space tourists are launched to the International Space Station on board a Russian “Soyuz” rocket.
